Vellum Milk Cartons

 

 

 

 

You really can't get cuter than these!  I made these for my son's preschool teachers for their Halloween gifts.  I have made these little milk cartons before but this time I made them smaller and in vellum!  So cute!  You can get a template for this anywhere on the internet.  I used my SCAL software to cut them out.  Also, SU! has a die for them as well.  I used my new Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set to make all the little tags on the front.  The orange stamped image is covered in Glossy Accents to make it shiny.  I secured them with little metal clips and then tied the name of the recipient on the top of the carton.  I hope the teachers love them!  There is candy corn inside so surely that will be a plus!  Have a great day and remember it is always homemade!

Here is the next Halloween Project for our series in October!  Hope you enjoyed last weeks projects!  I enjoyed making them!  Here is another one that I copied from a YouTube video.  Again, this is a great little pouch that you could make for any occasion!  I just happened to make it for Halloween.  This would be great for small cookies or for a piece of candy.  Have fun and remember it is always homemade!  The video is below....

I saw the directions for this box and knew I had to try it!  This would be great for treat boxes for any season!  So, I made mine for Halloween.  I used my Monster stamp set that I have had for a while and it works great for Halloween.  The video is below!  Have fun making your own!

Envelope Bag 

 

 

 

This is a SIMPLE bag made from a standard A2 envelope!  Yes, an envelope!  You can also make this with any other size or shape envelope and get many different looks to this little bag.  Again, this is perfect for a small treat bag for any occasion!  Below is the video with all the directions!  Have a great day and remember it is lways homemade!

 

 

 

 

 

Card Set and Box

 

 

This is basically only a 3x3 card set with embossed envelopes....but, how cute are they in this little box?  The cards are stamped with a demask stamp, "celebrate everything" stamp and then I used my score board to make the three embossed lines above and below the sentiment.  I also added a little gem in the middle of the demask stamped image.  Cute, easy, and classy!  I then made some vellum stickers to place on the back of each envelope.  The instructions for the box are HERE.  The only difference is that I used vellum instead of Stampin' UP! window paper (I think that is what it is called).  Anyway....hope you enjoy making this little card set and box for someone!  Remember, it is always homemade!

Quick and Easy Make-n-Take

 

First of all, I know this picture is not the best, but I wanted to show you all of the circles that I stamped.  While in Florida, I had to take some kind of crafting project to work on....I had gotten several stamp sets out that I had not really used much yet and I wanted to play with them a little bit.  So, I punched out many circles and then I stamped them all with all different kinds of stamps.  When I got home, I used my scalloped circle punch and punched out printed paper to match each stamp.  The following pictures are some quick projects and cards that you can make with these on the go....

Origami Boxes

How cute are these little boxes?  Perfect for little treats for anyone...and they can be decorated however you choose.  I saw this box on a you tube video done by Kristina Werner.  The video is below and she also shows a great way to decorate these little boxes.  She used a paper bag to make hers and that is how my box on the right is made.  I love the vintage vibe it gives.  My other box is made a little larger with thin printed paper.  If you need a more sturdy box, this is the way to go....and it is pre-decorated for you.  All it needs is a bow to finish it off.  Both are very cute.  You can make one in about 5 minutes after you make your first.  Hope you all have fun making these for little treats or baked goods to give to family and friends!

Criss Cross Box...Pinterest. Again.

Yes, I have been on Pinterest again!  This was pinned by my best friends' Mom and I just had to try it too!  It was super easy!  I will post at the end the link to the original blog post of the person who did this little box.  The only thing is is that I am pretty sure she mis-typed a measurement.  I will also give you the correct measurements at the bottom of this post.  I think this would be great for a class treat box...i.e. a cookie for Valentine's Day or for any occasion really!  Just go with it and use it for whatever YOU think it could be used for.  It is the perfect size for a small treat!

Vertical Score Lines:  4 inches and at 5 inches

Horizontal Score Lines:  3 inches, 4 inches, 7 inches and 8 inches

Matching Card Set and Box

I went to Tuesday Morning here in town a couple of weeks ago (Tuesday Morning is a store that sells name brand things at a discount) and found this "circle design" paper in a pack for $1.99.  You get 25 sheets of double sided cardstock made by American Crafts for only $1.99!!!!  Seriously!  It is a huge pack of the same paper but, when you do a lot of crafts it comes in handy when you make double of everything.  When I made this set I used this paper as an accent on each card.  I also made the two boxes (as seen below) with this cardstock as well so that when I sell it or give it away, it all matches!  I made two sets of these cards when I made them because it is always easier to go ahead and make another set at the same time.  This paper is so cute and you can do so many things with it and use so many different color combinations. 


These are the boxes that I made to put the 2 sets of cards in to give away or sell.  The one on the left is the "magazine type" box that I did a video on a couple of weeks ago.  The one on the right is a new box that takes minutes to make!  You can see directions in the video below...

Card Set Holder

This turned out so much cuter than I anticipated!!!  It looks great finished and put together with the black and white card set that was on the blog last week!!!  It is perfect for a gift or to store finished cards.  The original idea was on http://www.kardsbykadie.blogspot.com/ in January 2012 and I saw this on http://www.southerninkerbelles.blogspot.com/ during February!  I changed the size of theirs so that I could fit A2 size cards in it instead of 3x3 cards.  I use and make mostly A2 size cards and I wanted something that would work for me, so, after a few test runs, I got the measurements right and made a 2 part video for you!  Enjoy and get started!  You WON'T be disappointed with the outcome!  The measurements are re-written below the videos.

Measurements:

12x12 piece of Cardstock

Score at 5 1/4 and at 6 3/4

Turn Clockwise

Score at 1 3/4 and at 6 1/2

Cut as seen in video

Trim a 1/2 inch off of the top flaps and bottom flaps

Trim 1 3/4 of an inch off the middle flaps

Fold as seen in video

Top indention for the slant cut is 3 1/4 from the side

Side indention for the slant cut is 3 3/4 from the top

Glue and fold as directed in the video
